What makes YOURNUTS different from regular underwear?
Most underwear is made from synthetic fabrics like polyester or nylon blended with elastane.
YOURNUTS are made primarily from premium Merino wool, a natural fibre that is breathable, thermoregulating and antimicrobial.
This means:
• Less heat buildup
• Less moisture
• More comfort
• A natural environment for your nuts
No plastic fabrics soaking your nuts all day.
Just natural performance where it matters most.
Why Merino wool for underwear?
Merino wool is one of the most advanced natural fibres on earth.
It naturally:
• Regulates temperature
• Wicks moisture
• Resists odour
• Breathes better than synthetics
Unlike plastic-based fabrics, Merino helps keep your nuts cool, dry and comfortable all day.
Is Merino wool itchy?
No.
YOURNUTS use ultra-fine Merino wool, which is incredibly soft and smooth against the skin.
Most people are surprised by how comfortable it feels especially compared to synthetic underwear that traps heat and moisture.
Do YOURNUTS get hot?
Actually the opposite.
Merino wool is thermoregulating, meaning it helps keep you cool in the heat and warm in cooler temperatures.
That’s why Merino is used in high-end performance clothing around the world.
Do they smell after a full day?
Merino wool is naturally antimicrobial, which means it resists odour much better than synthetic fabrics.
Many customers report they stay fresher for longer compared to regular underwear.
What sizes do you offer?
YOURNUTS currently come in:
• Small
• Medium
• Large
• XL (Will be stocking this in our next production run)
If you're between sizes, we generally recommend sizing up for comfort.
A full size guide can be found on the product page.
How should I wash them?
To keep your Merino underwear performing at its best:
• Cold or gentle machine wash
• Mild detergent (if possible natural detergent)
• Do not tumble dry
• Air dry flat or on a line
Avoid harsh detergents or bleach.
Treat them well and they’ll treat your nuts well.
Do they stretch like regular underwear?
YOURNUTS are designed with comfort stretch, but unlike many brands we don’t rely heavily on synthetic fibres. Merino wool is naturally elastic so we chose not to cut any corners and left it at 100% Merino Wool.
The goal is natural performance without turning your underwear into plastic.
Are they good for workouts?
Yes.
Merino wool is widely used in performance gear because it:
• Breathes extremely well
• Wicks moisture
• Regulates temperature
Many customers wear them for training, work and everyday life.
Where are YOURNUTS made?
YOURNUTS are made using premium Merino wool sourced from trusted suppliers in Australia and manufactured with strict quality standards.
We focus on quality over mass production.
No fast fashion. Just well-made gear.
What if they don’t fit me?
No stress.
If your pair doesn’t fit right, just reach out and we’ll help you sort it out.
We want every customer to experience Merino on the nuts done properly.
When will sold-out sizes restock?
We produce in limited runs to maintain quality.
If your size is sold out, more stock is usually already in production.
Join the email list or follow us on Instagram @yournuts.co to be notified when restocks land.
Why should I care what my underwear is made of?
Your underwear sits against your skin all day, every day.
Synthetic fabrics can trap heat and moisture, two things your nuts don’t love.
Natural fibres like Merino create a cooler, more breathable environment.
Your nuts will thank you.
Is Merino wool better than cotton or bamboo?
In most cases, yes.
While cotton and bamboo are natural fibres, Merino wool is widely considered the most advanced natural performance fibre available.
Here’s why:
Breathability
Merino fibres are extremely fine and allow better airflow than cotton, helping reduce heat buildup.
Moisture Management
Merino can absorb and release moisture vapour, helping keep your nuts dry and comfortable.
Thermoregulation
Unlike cotton, Merino helps regulate temperature, especially for your nuts, keeping you cooler in heat.
Odour Resistance
Merino wool is naturally antimicrobial, meaning it resists odour far better than cotton or bamboo fabrics.
Comfort
Modern ultra-fine Merino wool is incredibly soft and smooth against the skin.
That’s why Merino is used in high-end performance clothing and outdoor gear worldwide.
For underwear, where breathability and temperature matter most, Merino is hard to beat.
